Position: Quality Control Supervisor Status: Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday

General Description: Responsible for supervision of inspection personnel as well as inspection of manufactured precision machined products. Inspections include, but not limited to, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection. Utilize precision monitoring and measuring instruments including CMM. Communicate well with others and properly document and report out of tolerance results immediately. Accurately maintain paperwork, computer logs and other required documentation on a consistent basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise staff in Quality Assurance
Problem solve questions/issues that arise
Prioritize jobs for staff/ allocate staff as needed
Inspect parts as time allows
Maintain paperwork and logs as needed
Purchase necessary tools for Quality Assurance department
Create debit memos for vendor returns
Create RMAs for customer returns
Works with customers and vendors on quality issues
Work with all departments to meet Quality Assurance needs
Work with manufacturing for any re-work needed
Trains employees in the Quality Assurance department
Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/ GED
B/A in a related field or equivalent accumulation of experience and education
8-10 years of GD&T and supervisory experience
Familiarity with the following equipment: CMM, optical comparator, hand measuring tools, surface plate and height gauge
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent math skills
