Position: General Laborer Shipping Receiving

Location:   Cameron Park, CA
Status:   Full Time
Hours:   Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

General Description:
The General Shop Laborer is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations to support production processes. This includes supporting shipping and receiving, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and some janitorial functions. Assists department managers on general labor duties as assigned.
 
  • Complete routine maintenance.
  • Clean work area to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Package and prepare parts for shipment to customers per instructions.
  • Pull parts determined by job schedule from inventory or from completed inspection.
  • Assure orders and shipping quantities match quantities on job schedule.
  • Empty garbage and recycling cans.
  • Performs inventory cycle counts.
  • Counts and verifies quantities of incoming shipments from vendors or customers.
  • Operate basic shop tools,
  • Safely transport raw materials, parts, and finished products between workstations, departments, and storage areas using pallet, jacks, forklifts, or carts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Multitasking skills and detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with the operation of forklift or pallet jack.
