General Description:
The General Shop Laborer is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations to support production processes. This includes supporting shipping and receiving, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and some janitorial functions. Assists department managers on general labor duties as assigned.

General Description:
The General Shop Laborer is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations to support production processes. This includes supporting shipping and receiving, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and some janitorial functions. Assists department managers on general labor duties as assigned.
- Complete routine maintenance.
- Clean work area to maintain safe working conditions.
- Package and prepare parts for shipment to customers per instructions.
- Pull parts determined by job schedule from inventory or from completed inspection.
- Assure orders and shipping quantities match quantities on job schedule.
- Empty garbage and recycling cans.
- Performs inventory cycle counts.
- Counts and verifies quantities of incoming shipments from vendors or customers.
- Operate basic shop tools,
- Safely transport raw materials, parts, and finished products between workstations, departments, and storage areas using pallet, jacks, forklifts, or carts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective time management skills
- Multitasking skills and detail oriented.
- Familiarity with the operation of forklift or pallet jack.
